Cabins & Workshops
All cabins are made from untreated kiln dried softwood timber.
To get the maximum service life from your cabin we strongly advise it be given a minimum of two coats of a good quality wood preservative giving particular attention to joints, the roof structure and the timber around the base. Re-treat annually. Correct timber treatment is essential, feel free to discuss this with our staff.
Do not place the cabin in direct contact with the ground, support it on bearers, so that the air can circulate underneath. Do not get the cabin timbers wet before staining and erection.
All cabins come flat packed for self-assembly.

Please Note: The nature of timber is that it may shrink, split and crack in hot weather as it gives up moisture into an atmosphere drier than itself, and may swell in wet weather, as it takes up moisture from an atmosphere wetter than itself. We are not responsible for this as it is an inherent characteristic of wood: we give information so you can make informed decisions about using wood.
